Amedeo Cappelletti is a sound designer and composer based in Italy. Working across game audio, film & documentary, sound installations and live performance. His practice sits at the intersection of sound design, composition and space. Aesthetically marked by an interest for contrast, memory and melancholia. Technically built on field recording, sample manipulation, modular and granular synthesis and sharpened by his experience with interactive game audio systems, spatial audio and film work. That interest in space carries through his installations, including a piece for 54 speakers at Monom, Berlin's Centre for Spatial Sound and sound installations to support multi-media exhibitions across Germany, Brazil, Switzerland, Italy and the U.K. As a producer and performer, recording under the names Amedeo Cappelletti and cplt, he has released his first album on Aurora Edition alongside tracks for YGAM and Catalyst, and performed live at venues including Silent Green, Funkhaus, Monom, and Punktum.
